WIDOWSWARM

Autonomous targeting and coordination system.

OVERVIEW

WIDOWSWARM is an attritable ISR and multi-vehicle coordination system built on the Sentricon Sovereign Autonomy Platform.
It enables distributed, autonomous mission execution across airborne and ground assets, delivering real-time ISR, swarm behaviours, and operator-directed tasks in contested environments.

The Problem

Modern frontline drone operations depend on highly experienced operators working 15–20 kilometres behind the zero line, deep within the grey zone. These specialists manage fibre-optic drones, EW-resilient ISR platforms and long-endurance reconnaissance systems. They are extremely limited in number, and every mission that requires them introduces delay, dependency and operational bottlenecks.

Frontline soldiers, by contrast, cannot operate drones requiring constant piloting, telemetry monitoring or camera-feed interpretation. Their attention is already divided across multiple life-critical tasks. Traditional UAV systems demand continuous cognitive involvement, which zero-line troops simply cannot provide without degrading their primary mission.

The result is a persistent ISR gap at the frontline. Soldiers at the zero line cannot deploy drones effectively, and specialist operators cannot be risked forward. Critical intelligence that should be gathered at the point of contact is instead delayed, unavailable or completely lost.

The Solution

WIDOWSWARM is designed specifically to close this gap. Instead of relying on scarce, highly trained operators far behind the line, WIDOWSWARM enables frontline soldiers to deploy autonomous ISR with almost no cognitive burden.

Using the WIDOW UI-M interface, a soldier simply enters basic mission information and initiates a launch sequence. Multiple drones can be dispatched at once, and the soldier can immediately return to their duties without needing to monitor telemetry or camera feeds. From launch onward, the drones operate fully autonomously, following mission logic without any manual piloting or continuous supervision.

WIDOWSWARM transforms frontline ISR from a specialised and resource-intensive task into an accessible, low-effort capability that any soldier can use while remaining focused on the mission. It preserves expert operators for deep, complex missions while finally giving zero-line units the autonomy tools they have never had access to before.

Zero-Line Friendly

Designed to be operated at the zero line by regular soldiers, not specialist UAV teams.

No Cognitive Burden

No constant joystick control, no continuous telemetry or feed monitoring. Operator burden is kept to a minimum.

Minimum Training

Baseline mission inputs only. No advanced piloting skills or complex workflows required.

Multi-Drone Autonomy

Launch multiple drones in one sequence, then return to other duties while missions execute autonomously.

Autonomous After Launch

Once launched, WIDOWSWARM assets follow their mission profiles without direct operator input.

Preserves Specialist Operators

Enables frontline units to deploy kinetic effects while expert operators remain focused on higher-priority missions deeper behind the line.

Mission Roles

Airborne

High-endurance reconnaissance with autonomous behaviours.

Autonomous

Swarm tasking, formation logic, and distributed mission execution.

EW Resilience

Designed for degraded comms and austere deployment environments.
